Counting chambers made of special optical glass. Assistant counting chambers are precision measuring devices.they are used to count the number of particles per unit volume of a liquid. The counting chambers are supplied with CE marking according to IVD Directive 98/79 EC. The lateral marking areas are separated by grooves from the three central, flat-ground ridges. The middle bar is deeper than the two outer bars. This results in the chamber depth. The chamber depth (tolerance ± 2%) depends on the counting net - see descriptions below. The counting nets are engraved in the center bar. Counting chambers with double pitch are standard. The center bar is separated by an additional groove. Light-line counting chambers: The center bar is provided with a chrome layer in which the counting nets are engraved. This results in a better contrast of the lines to the surface. The lines appear bright-lined.
