The contact point is at the side, so that movement or pressure on the cable does not disrupt contact between the electrode and the skin. This results in stable baselines, important in stress ECG. Cables can be attached without applying pressure to the gelled foam ring. Sensor: sillver/silver-chloride, and has a non-irritant adhesive. Exceeds the AAMI and IEC standards.
